Mission Statement
We are parents, grandparents and others who want to see children’s rights prioritized above polluting flights. Every sector needs to play its part in tackling climate change, including aviation. Increasing flights is reckless in the face of the climate emergency.

Objectives
- Defend the rights of children in the context of the climate emergency by ensuring that the aviation industry does its fair share to protect them from climate harms.
- Increase awareness of the climate harms of aviation and expose misinformation
- Highlight real and false solutions to pollution from aviation.
Goals
- Keep and enforce the annual passenger cap of 32 million passengers at Dublin Airport as a first step towards the aviation industry in Ireland contributing to climate action
2. Have international as well as domestic aviation emissions included in Irish government climate action plans and targets.
3. Achieve aviation public policy consistent with a stable climate, such as
- limits on emissions associated with flights to/from Ireland,
- air-freight limits
- taxation of aviation fuel,
- frequent flyer levies
- bans on fossil fuel advertising and sponsorship
- environmental labelling schemes for aviation
4. Media coverage of the aviation sector includes discussion of the climate impacts of the sector
5. End aviation advertising, promotion and greenwashing
6. Irish government advocating for implementation of strong European and international measures to limit aviation impact on the climate
